Welcome to SELFPAID (“SELFPAID,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SELFPAID website, platform, applications, task marketplace, reward systems, communications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By creating an account, accessing, or using SELFPAID, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
1. ABOUT SELFPAID
SELFPAID is an online platform that connects individuals (“Publishers” or “Users”) with tasks, activities, and opportunities made available by SELFPAID, businesses, organizations, and participating third-party platforms (“Task Providers” or “Partners”).
Users may complete eligible tasks and, depending on the applicable task terms, receive rewards in the form of:
- SELFPAID Points; or
- U.S. dollar (“USD”) earnings.
Task availability, eligibility, requirements, rewards, approval criteria, and payment terms may vary by task.
SELFPAID does not guarantee that any particular user will receive a specific number of tasks, earnings, Points, or other rewards.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 13 years old to create and maintain a SELFPAID account, and meet any higher minimum age or additional requirements that apply where you live. If you are under the age of majority where you live, ask a parent or guardian to review these Terms with you.
By registering, you represent that:
- You are legally able to use the Platform and, where required, have your parent or guardian’s permission.
- The information you provide is accurate and current.
- You will maintain accurate account information.
- You will not create an account using another person’s identity.
- You will not create multiple accounts for the purpose of abusing the Platform.
- Your use of SELFPAID does not violate any law or agreement applicable to you.
SELFPAID may refuse registration or restrict access where permitted by law.
3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
Certain features require an account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep that information updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
You must immediately notify SELFPAID if you believe that:
- Your account has been accessed without authorization;
- Your password has been compromised; or
- Someone is using your account without permission.
SELFPAID is not responsible for losses resulting from your failure to protect your account credentials, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. EMAIL VERIFICATION
SELFPAID may require users to verify their email address before accessing certain features.
Verification may be completed through an authentication code, verification link, or another security method provided by SELFPAID.
Users must not share authentication codes, verification links, passwords, or account credentials with another person.
SELFPAID may restrict account functionality until required verification has been completed.
5. TASKS
Tasks may be provided by SELFPAID or participating Task Providers.
Each task may contain its own:
- Description;
- Eligibility requirements;
- Completion instructions;
- Deadline;
- Proof requirements;
- Reward amount;
- Reward type;
- Review criteria;
- Geographic or other restrictions.
You are responsible for reading and understanding the requirements before beginning a task.
Submitting incomplete, inaccurate, fraudulent, duplicated, or otherwise invalid work may result in rejection of the submission and may result in account restrictions.
SELFPAID does not guarantee that every task will remain available for a particular period of time.
SELFPAID or a Task Provider may modify, pause, cancel, or remove a task where permitted by applicable law.
6. TASK SUBMISSIONS AND REVIEW
When completing a task, you may be required to submit proof that you completed the task.
Proof may include text, screenshots, photographs, documents, URLs, transaction references, or other information specified by the task.
By submitting proof, you represent that:
- The submission is truthful and accurate;
- You completed the work yourself unless the task expressly permits otherwise;
- You have the right to submit the material;
- The submission does not violate another person’s rights;
- The submission does not contain malicious software or prohibited material.
SELFPAID and/or the applicable Task Provider may review submissions before rewards are issued.
Submission of work does not automatically guarantee approval or payment.
7. REWARDS AND SELFPAID POINTS
SELFPAID may provide rewards in Points or USD depending on the specific task.
SELFPAID Points
SELFPAID Points (SPP) are platform reward units used within the SELFPAID ecosystem.
Unless expressly stated otherwise by SELFPAID:
- Points are not U.S. currency.
- Points are not a bank deposit.
- Points do not represent ownership in SELFPAID.
- Points do not represent shares, equity, or voting rights.
- Points do not automatically have a fixed monetary value.
- Points are not automatically convertible into USD.
- Points cannot be redeemed for cash unless SELFPAID expressly provides a redemption program.
SELFPAID may modify the rules governing Points where permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms constitutes an offer to sell securities, investment products, or financial instruments.
8. USD EARNINGS
Where a task provides a USD reward, the applicable amount and conditions will be displayed or communicated in connection with that task.
USD earnings may be subject to:
- Task approval;
- Fraud and compliance review;
- Minimum withdrawal requirements;
- Account eligibility;
- Payment-method requirements;
- Applicable fees;
- Applicable laws and regulations.
Supported payment methods include PayPal, Payoneer, and bank transfer, where available.
A payment request does not automatically mean that payment has been approved.
SELFPAID may delay or place a payment under review where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, duplicate activity, inaccurate information, payment errors, legal requirements, or violations of these Terms.
9. PAYMENT INFORMATION
Users are responsible for providing accurate payment information.
SELFPAID is not responsible for delays or failed payments caused by inaccurate information supplied by the user.
Where a payment is returned, rejected, reversed, or otherwise unsuccessful, SELFPAID may require the user to provide corrected payment information before attempting another payment.
SELFPAID may maintain records of payment requests and payment transactions for accounting, legal, security, fraud-prevention, and compliance purposes.
10. REFERRALS
SELFPAID may offer referral programs.
Where a referral program is available, the applicable program rules will determine:
- Eligibility;
- Qualification requirements;
- Referral rewards;
- Timing;
- Maximum rewards;
- Disqualification conditions.
Users may not:
- Refer themselves;
- Create fake accounts;
- Use bots or automated accounts;
- Manipulate referral activity;
- Use fraudulent identities;
- Spam individuals;
- Misrepresent SELFPAID;
- Engage in activity intended to improperly generate referral rewards.
SELFPAID may reverse referral rewards associated with fraudulent, invalid, or otherwise disqualified activity.
11. TASK PROVIDERS AND PARTNERS
SELFPAID may allow businesses and third-party platforms to provide tasks to Publishers.
Task Providers are responsible for ensuring that their tasks comply with applicable laws and applicable agreements with SELFPAID.
SELFPAID may remove or suspend tasks that violate Platform rules, applicable law, or safety requirements.
Task Providers may have additional agreements with SELFPAID governing their use of the Platform.
12. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
You may not use SELFPAID to:
- Commit fraud;
- Impersonate another person;

- Conduct phishing or credential theft;
- Violate intellectual-property rights;
- Violate privacy rights;
- Upload unlawful or harmful content;
- Use SELFPAID for activities prohibited by applicable law.
SELFPAID may investigate suspected violations.
13. USER CONTENT
Users may submit content in connection with tasks, profiles, support requests, reviews, or other Platform functions (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of User Content to the extent you own it.
By submitting User Content to SELFPAID, you grant SELFPAID a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, administer, and improve the Platform and to process the applicable task.
SELFPAID does not acquire ownership of your original intellectual property solely because you submit it to the Platform.
Additional rights relating to work created specifically for a Task Provider may be governed by the applicable task terms.
14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The SELFPAID name, logo, trademarks, designs, software, website, graphics, interfaces, text, and other Platform materials are owned by or licensed to SELFPAID and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit SELFPAID materials without authorization.
15. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
SELFPAID may integrate with or link to third-party services, including payment providers, authentication providers, analytics providers, hosting providers, communication services, and partner platforms.
Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
SELFPAID is not responsible for the independent actions, policies, availability, or practices of third-party services.
16. PLATFORM AVAILABILITY
We strive to keep SELFPAID available and reliable.
However, we do not guarantee that the Platform will always be:
- Available;
- Uninterrupted;
- Error-free;
- Secure from every possible threat;
- Free from technical problems.
Maintenance, updates, outages, security incidents, third-party failures, and circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect availability.
17. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
SELFPAID may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of:
- Fraud;
- Abuse;
- Security concerns;
- Violation of these Terms;
- Illegal activity;
- Manipulation of tasks or rewards;
- Payment abuse;
- Referral abuse;
- Misrepresentation;
- Requests from law enforcement or legal requirements;
- Other conduct that threatens the Platform or its users.
Where appropriate and permitted by law, SELFPAID may provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
18. DISPUTES REGARDING TASKS
A Task Provider may establish task-specific requirements and review procedures.
If a task submission is rejected, users may use any dispute or support process made available by SELFPAID.
SELFPAID may review disputes involving task eligibility, submissions, rewards, or account activity.
SELFPAID’s review process does not prevent a user from exercising rights that cannot legally be waived.
19. DISCLAIMERS
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SELFPAID is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
SELFPAID does not guarantee:
- A particular income;
- A particular number of tasks;
- A particular reward amount;
- Continuous task availability;
- Approval of every submission;
- Any particular financial outcome.
Users are responsible for determining whether a task is appropriate and lawful for them.
Nothing on SELFPAID should be interpreted as employment, investment, financial, legal, tax, or professional advice unless expressly stated otherwise.
20. TAX RESPONSIBILITY
Users are responsible for determining and satisfying their own tax obligations arising from rewards, payments, or other income received through SELFPAID.
SELFPAID may collect information or provide documentation where required by applicable law.
SELFPAID does not provide individual tax advice.
21. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SELFPAID and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the Platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of SELFPAID arising from your use of the Platform will be limited to the greater of:
- The amount you paid directly to SELFPAID during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
- One hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.
22. INDEMNIFICATION
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SELFPAID and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms;
- Your misuse of the Platform;
- Your User Content;
- Your violation of another person’s rights;
- Your violation of applicable law;
- Fraudulent or unauthorized activity conducted through your account.
23. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND ARBITRATION
Except where prohibited by applicable law, disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of SELFPAID will first be addressed through good-faith informal resolution.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to resolve the dispute through individual binding arbitration rather than a court proceeding.
The arbitration will be administered by a recognized U.S. arbitration provider under its applicable rules.
The arbitration will be conducted in English and may be conducted remotely unless otherwise required.
Class Action Waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by law, disputes must be brought on an individual basis and not as part of a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action.
Nothing in this section prevents a user from exercising rights that applicable law prohibits from being waived.
24. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, together with applicable federal laws of the United States.
Where applicable law in the jurisdiction where a user resides provides mandatory rights that cannot legally be waived, those rights remain unaffected.
25. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
SELFPAID may update these Terms from time to time.
When material changes are made, SELFPAID may provide notice through the Platform, email, or another reasonable method.
The updated Terms will identify their effective date.
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
26. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
By using SELFPAID, you consent to receive electronic communications relating to your account, transactions, security, tasks, payments, and Platform operations.
You may change your new-task announcement preferences in your profile. Account, payment, and security messages may still be sent when necessary to operate the Platform.
27. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
28. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable task-specific or partner agreements, constitute the agreement between you and SELFPAID regarding your use of the Platform.
